As countries all around the world are experiencing a significant decrease in their Covid-19 cases, people now began to question the need of wearing masks.
India is reporting less than 10,000 cases daily. Moreover, the ratio of people getting vaccinated is also increasing, but the healthcare authorities still fear that corona cases might go up.
With the lowering of the positivity rate, the covid-19 transition has effectively reduced. As a result, people are sometimes seen not wearing mask properly, and even in some scenarios ignoring the social distancing norms.
Also, there are more hazardous scenarios where many times there are celebrations where a large crowd is not wearing masks. Is it time to go “mask-less”?
Although we cannot deny the fact that conditions are better, and we can somewhat say that Covid-19 is now under control, but we cannot abandon the necessary precautions against the novel coronavirus.
At the present date, the Coronavirus has not completely finished. If you ease up on wearing a mask or following proper social distancing or sanitization, the chances you getting the virus increase.
Even if you were infected and have recovered from the coronavirus, you should still wear a mask as there are no reports that confirm
currently that a person cannot get re-infected within three
months after the initial infection.
This means that the antibodies from the prior infection could protect you only for three months.
Another major fact to be considered is that you can be a carrier of the virus without even knowing it yourself.
There is a possibility that you remain unaffected by the virus, but you can transfer that virus to the other people with whom you come in contact.
This can be very dangerous for old-aged people or people who do not have good immunity.
Social Distances norms one should follow at workplace
In current scenario it is safest if you wear your mask properly and follow social distancing as it is always better to follow all the precautions rather than following cure.
