Australia is batten down to share its groundwork to tackle the COVID- 19 pandemic, as it hosts the Virtual Global Innovation Summit 2020. Serenely, the motif for this year stances to be ‘Crossing the chasm: Health, Innovation and the Future Economy.’
For the outlined next two days, the participants are going to have a sturm and drang of the corona virus in orientation with health, social, and economic context and decreeing a way to reimburse with innovation.
Quoting Greg Hunt, The Minister of Health,“Globally, Australia is in an enviable position – both financially and in our health response to COVID-19; throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen monumental change to the way Australians can take care of their health. This includes the introduction of telehealth, which has revolutionised the way Australian patients can receive care.”

He further goes on to mention that, “This summit gives us, the people, the opportunity to outline how we have approached the most challenging of times, and allows us to work with other global leaders to develop the innovative health solutions we need in the months and years ahead.”
Linchpin is that this summit will furnish an opportunity to spectacle Australia’s innovational breakthroughs and technology to leaders across the health, industry, science, investment and technology zones.
Karen Andrews, Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, bears the akin views. He is assertive that the virtual symposium will bring in sync some of the most radiant minds from around the world to discuss how economies can emerge from COVID-19 global with hiked resilience and competitiveness.
To gird for the post-COVID recession, Australia is also investing in supplementary support for Australian businesses to use digital tools to upgrade their processes, as part of their goal- to become a prominent digital economy by 2030.
The Global Innovation Summit will be co-hosted by the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils.
The two-day event will comprise of international leaders’ aspects, bilateral forum analysis and demonstration highlighting pivotal innovation breakthroughs assisting the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
